Safety Data: Check general safety data and while all the Cydonia products are well tolerated, we advise the use of a patch test with all our products before use.
Patch Test: A patch test is a method used to determine whether a specific substance or product causes allergic inflammation to a person’s skin. Any individual suspected of having allergic contact dermatitis or history of same, needs patch testing when they use a new skin care product. Patch testing just means you use a small amount of product on your skin to see how you react.
Put a small amount of the product on the inner arm, usually the wrist area. Your inner arm is a good place to test because generally that skin is sensitive. It won’t be too noticeable if you do have a reaction. Usually apply a small amount of product with a cotton bud and leave 24 hours to see reaction. If no reaction this is a good indicator that the product is safe for you to use.
