Safety Data: Use a Patch Test before application. While all the Cydonia products are well tolerated, we advise the use of a Patch Test with all our products before use. Not for application on open wounds or near the eyes. WASH hands after use. Eugena Caryophyllus (Clove Bud) could cause dermatitis in sensitive individuals. Keep out of reach of children.

Patch Test: A patch test is a method used to determine whether a specific substance or product causes allergic inflammation to a person’s skin. Any individual suspected of having allergic contact dermatitis or history of same, needs patch testing when they use a new skin care product. Patch testing just means you use a small amount of product on your skin to see how you react.

Put a small amount of the product on the inner arm, usually the wrist area. Your inner arm is a good place to test because generally that skin is sensitive. It won’t be too noticeable if you do have a reaction. Usually apply a small amount of product with a cotton bud and leave 24 hours to see reaction. If no reaction this is a good indicator that the product is safe for you to use.
